~ we approve of colin powell’s visit to the ‘unofficial’ peace accord festival in switzerland, despite the bellyaching and fuming of the button down types in israel/palestine. sharon and arafat and their respective administrations have demonstrated to history that they are prepared to do jack shit to reach an agreement between israel/palestine; if those codgers are not going to step aside, then it is only right that the people do the job themselves.
~ if you are in the position to spend $250 on a new mattress, you sound like a fool when you talk about what a great deal it is, because when you have that kind of money to spend on such a luxury, you are not one who is interested in deals. the only deal you can get on a mattress is spending $10 on a twin and discovering afterwards that it is not used, after all.
